Fatal Stabbing Leaves 60-Year-Old Man Dead in D.C.

Washington, D.C. – A fatal stabbing incident in Northeast D.C. has prompted an investigation by local authorities.

On Tuesday, at approximately 4:08 p.m., officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 5200 block of Foote Street, Northeast. They found 60-year-old Gary Ronald Day of Southeast D.C. unconscious but breathing, suffering from multiple puncture wounds. Day was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead despite all lifesaving efforts.
