Father Confesses to Police After Baby Suffered Brain Damage

BLOOMSBURG, PA – Bloomsburg Police arrested Michael Henderson on Tuesday, following a report from Columbia County Children and Youth concerning an injured seven-week-old infant.

The child, found with a brain bleed and previous injuries in healing stages, was life-flighted for urgent care.

Henderson, after interviews with the police, admitted to shaking the infant on two occasions.

He faces 2 counts each of Felony Aggravated Assault, Endangering the Welfare of Children, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.

Henderson was arraigned with bail set at $125,000.
