Father Turns In Own Son in Stolen Car Incident in Baltimore

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND — A teen has been apprehended in connection with a vehicle theft on Elbert Street.

Authorities were alerted to the stolen vehicle situation yesterday morning at 8:35 a.m. The car was spotted by the juvenile’s father, who reported his 16-year-old son driving a car he did not own.

Police, upon arrival, confirmed the vehicle’s stolen status and detained the young suspect. He was then taken to the Baltimore City Juvenile Justice Center, with charges forthcoming. The car has been returned to its rightful owner.
