Fayette Street homicide suspects caught on camera

BALTIMORE, Md. — Detectives are asking for the public’s help identifying individuals connected to a fatal Southwest District shooting that left a 23-year-old man dead earlier this month.

On Friday, June 13, at approximately 12:47 a.m., Lavar Steeles was shot while in the 1500 block of West Fayette Street. He later died from his injuries. Baltimore Police have released a photo showing individuals they believe may be connected to the homicide.

Investigators have not confirmed the number of suspects or any known motive. The individuals in the released image are considered persons of interest, and efforts are ongoing to confirm their identities.
