FAYETTEVILLE, NC – Early at around 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Fayetteville Police Department officers arrived at the 200 block of B Street and found Ricky Pernell McMillian Jr., 39, of Fayetteville, with multiple gunshot wounds.
McMillian was later pronounced dead at the hospital.
After the shooting, the assailant stole McMillian’s Dodge Challenger Hellcat, driving away with a passenger present during the incident.
The passenger has since been located and is unharmed.
