Fayetteville Police Investigating Second Homicide on Same Day

FAYETTEVILLE, NC – Detectives from the Fayetteville Police Department are investigating a second homicide that took place within a span of four hours.

The incident occurred on Monday at 5:45 a.m., in the 300 block of Dallas Street.

Officers who responded to a report of shots fired in the area discovered a deceased man behind a residence along the 2000 block of Center Street.

What was initially categorized as a suspicious death investigation has now been reclassified as a homicide investigation.
