Fire Closes Central Atlantic City Streets, Assistance Available for Affected Residents

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – A house fire in Atlantic City closed streets from Texas Avenue to Mississippi Avenue between Arctic Avenue and Pacific Avenue, on Thursday.

Residents were urged to avoid the area of South Georgia Avenue as crews worked to control the blaze. Volunteers of America Impact Specialists are available to offer assistance and can be reached at 609-541-2806.

The Red Cross has set up a support station in the Boardwalk Hall Parking Garage.
