Firearm Purchase Attempt Leads to Arrest in Lower Allen Township

LOWER ALLEN TOWNSHIP, PA – The Lower Allen Township Police Department served an arrest warrant on Deshaun E. Scott on Tuesday.

The warrant stemmed from an incident on July 24th, 2022, at Sportsman’s Warehouse, where Scott attempted to purchase a firearm.

Scott completed a Firearms Transaction form, falsely stating he had no convictions that would disqualify him.

However, his criminal record indicated prior convictions. Scott is charged with Sale or Transfer of Firearms and Unsworn Falsification to Authorities.

The arrest follows charges filed after an investigation by the Lower Allen Township Police and the PSP Firearms Division.
