Two $15K TAKE 5 lottery tickets sold in Albany and Jamaica

ALBANY, NY — Two New York Lottery players are celebrating after each hit a top-prize-winning ticket in the August 21 TAKE 5 Evening drawing, splitting the jackpot for a payout of $15,707.50 each.

The New York Lottery announced the winning tickets were sold at two different locations: Market 32 by Price Chopper, 40 Delaware Avenue in Albany, and Conoco Gas Station, 108-46 Merrick Boulevard in Jamaica, Queens.

TAKE 5 drawings are held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., with numbers drawn from a field of one through 39. Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

The winners’ identities have not yet been released.
