Treasure Hunt ticket worth more than $138,400 hits in Westmoreland County
MIDDLETOWN, PA – A Pennsylvania Lottery Treasure Hunt ticket worth $138,476 was sold in Westmoreland County for Tuesday’s drawing after matching all five numbers, delivering a six-figure jackpot to a yet-to-be-identified winner.
The jackpot-winning ticket matched all five balls drawn Tuesday, 4-5-10-12-26, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.
The winning ticket was sold at Mr. Smokes, located at 12120 State Route 30 in North Huntingdon Township. The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
More than 48,400 additional Treasure Hunt tickets won prizes in the same drawing.
Lottery officials said winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Treasure Hunt winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize. Players who purchased a winning ticket at a retailer are advised to sign the back of the ticket immediately.
Treasure Hunt debuted in May 2007 and is drawn daily. Ticket sales close at 1:05 p.m. each day, and results are posted online after 1:35 p.m.
