Fleeing Suspect Caught with Drugs

Wilkes-Barre, PA – On Monday, Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a Chevrolet Impala at the intersection of North Main Street and East Chestnut Street. The driver, identified as Brandon Martinez, attempted to flee but was subsequently stopped following a brief pursuit.

Brandon Martinez, aged 28 and from Wilkes-Barre, was arrested following the incident. Officers discovered suspected narcotics and paraphernalia on Martinez during a search. He was later taken to City Headquarters, processed, and subsequently released.
