Food truck stolen from Wilkes-Barre home

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Police are investigating the theft of a food truck stolen overnight from a backyard on South Meade Street, according to a report filed Wednesday night.

The victim, a 42-year-old Wilkes-Barre resident, told police that her silver, converted 2008 GMC Sierra K1500 food truck was taken sometime before 9:21 p.m., when officers were dispatched to her home.

The truck, which was parked behind the victim’s residence, was removed by an unknown suspect. Police have not released additional details about the theft or any potential suspects.
