SEAFORD, DE – Delaware State Police have arrested 19-year-old Jordan Morris of Seaford, Delaware, on multiple felony charges stemming from an assault incident that took place last month in Lincoln.

The incident occurred in the early hours of February 23, when troopers were dispatched to a residence on Holly Drive East following reports of an assault.

The investigation revealed that Morris, during an argument, struck a 25-year-old man from Lincoln with his car.

Prior to the altercation, the victim and his friends were visiting a relative at the Holly Drive East address when they declined an invitation from Morris, leading to tensions. Following a confrontation about the disturbance caused by Morris honking the horn and yelling, Morris threatened to kill the victim’s relative, which escalated the situation.

As the argument continued, Morris intentionally drove his Ford Fusion towards the victim, hitting him with the front of the vehicle before fleeing the scene. The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment.
