Fort Lauderdale Police Continue Investigation into Fatal Shooting of Rylo Yancy

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The Fort Lauderdale Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively investigating the July 21st shooting that resulted in the death of Rylo Yancy. As part of the ongoing investigation, detectives have recovered both vehicles involved in the incident: a 2024 red Mercedes Benz C 300 and a 2017 black Mercedes Benz C 300.

To aid in the apprehension of the suspect(s), Broward County Crime Stoppers has increased the reward amount to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest.
