Fort Lee resident wins $50k Powerball prize

FORT LEE, NJ – A lottery player in Fort Lee, Bergen County, is celebrating after their New Jersey Lottery ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Power Ball in the Wednesday, May 24 drawing, securing a $50,000 second-tier prize.

The winning ticket was sold at Garden State News, located at 1620 Lemoine Ave.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday drawing were 12, 21, 44, 50, and 58, with a Red Power Ball number of 26. The Power Play multiplier for the drawing was 3X. A total of 17,619 players across New Jersey won prizes ranging from $4 to $300, accumulating an estimated total of $104,514.
