Four Arrests Made in Aberdeen Homicide Case

Aberdeen, MD – Harford County detectives have charged four individuals involved in a recent homicide in Aberdeen. The incident resulted in the death of an 18-year-old and injuries to another.

On January 5, at approximately 12:34 a.m., deputies from the Southern Precinct responded to a shooting on the 1300 block of N. Sewards Court. They discovered two male victims with gunshot wounds. Jaylen Jackson, 18, was treated for a non-life-threatening wound, while Kylonne Taylor, also 18, was pronounced dead on the scene.

The investigation revealed that four suspects entered the residence during a birthday party, leading to an altercation and gunfire. Amir Dorsey and Quinton Jackson, both 18, were charged with illegal possession of ammunition. A juvenile from Abingdon, charged as an adult, and Tyjeir Cole, 18, were charged with second-degree murder.

Evidence collection led to the discovery of a stolen handgun. The weapon believed used in the murder, linked to a Baltimore City incident, has not been found. All suspects are in custody, with Cole and the juvenile held without bail.
