Four Dead in Maryland Shooting

Joppatowne, MD – On Saturday, at approximately 11:18 a.m., deputies were dispatched to an apartment on the 300 block of Trimble Road for reports of an active shooter situation.

Upon arrival, four individuals were found with gunshot wounds. Three were pronounced dead at the scene, and one later succumbed to injuries after being transported to Shock Trauma.

One of the deceased is believed to be the suspect.

The incident was isolated to one apartment within a single building. No forced entry was observed, and it is not believed that there is an ongoing threat to the community.

The investigation remains active, and names of the involved parties are not being released at this time.
