Four Families Displaced in Hamilton Township Fire

On Wednesday, at approximately 4:01 pm, the Township of Hamilton Police Department responded to a report of a structure fire on Rhododendron Court.

The fire affected a total of four residences, causing damage by fire, smoke, or water. Three families were displaced from their homes as a result of the incident.

A 71-year-old female sustained minor injuries and received treatment at the scene.

At present, the cause of the fire remains under investigation, and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Detective Murray or Officer Osby at the Township of Hamilton Police Department at (609) 625-2700.

Several local fire departments, including Cardiff, Cologne, Laureldale, and Mays Landing, assisted at the scene. Support was also provided by the Township of Hamilton Rescue Squad, Atlantic County Prosecutors Office, Servpro, Red Cross, and NJ State DOT.
