Four injured after decorative helicopter crashes into American Dream water park kiddie pool

EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – Four people were injured when a decorative helicopter inside the American Dream Mall’s DreamWorks water park on Sunday.

The company said the injuries were deemed non-life-threatening. The incident happened at around 3 pm. A spokesman for the water park confirmed three people were injured and treated at the scene. A fourth was taken to a local hospital.

It is not sure what caused the malfunction.

The incident remains under investigation.

Park officials today said, “The safety of our guests is our highest priority. We will conduct a thorough investigation into this incident to ensure the park meets all safety regulations as required.”

Witnesses said the helicopter made a loud crashing sound as it fell into the shallow pool. The ages of the injured guests were not immediately known.
