Four men sought in armed Queens street robbery near 90th Avenue

QUEENS — Police are searching for four men who robbed a 43-year-old man at gunpoint in Jamaica early Monday morning, making off with his cellphone and cash, authorities said.

The incident occurred around 12:40 a.m. on July 14 near 175-29 90th Avenue, when four unidentified male individuals approached the victim. One of them displayed a silver firearm and demanded money, while the others forcibly removed the man’s iPhone 15 Pro Max and approximately $35 in cash from his wallet, police said.

The suspects fled southbound on 176th Street. No injuries were reported.

The stolen iPhone is valued at approximately $1,100, according to the victim.

Descriptions of the suspects were released as follows:

• The first individual is described as a male with a light complexion and thin build, last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black jeans, and white sneakers.
• The second is a male with a light complexion and medium build, last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans, black sneakers, and a black hat.
• The third is a male with a light complexion and thin build, wearing a black-and-tan top, black jeans, and black sneakers.
• The fourth is a male with a light complexion and medium build, wearing a gray hoodie, black shorts, black socks, and white sneakers. He was carrying a dark bag and riding a scooter.

The NYPD is investigating the robbery and has made no arrests.
