Four Shot, One Dead Friday in Queens

QUEENS, NY — A tragic shooting incident unfolded on Friday, December 22, at about 3:15 PM, in front of 117-29 143 Street, in the 113 Precinct of Queens, New York. Responding to multiple 911 calls, officers found four men shot at the scene. The victims, two 29-year-olds, a 36-year-old, and a 43-year-old, sustained varying injuries.

One 29-year-old man, who suffered a gunshot wound to the back, was pronounced dead at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. The other 29-year-old victim, shot in the right arm, and the 36-year-old, wounded in the left shoulder, are in stable condition. The 43-year-old man, shot in the back and right arm, is listed in critical condition.

No arrests have been made yet, and the investigation is ongoing. The identity of the deceased is withheld pending notification of the family.
