Franklin Boulevard Closed Due to Barricaded Suspect Inside Vehicle, Police Presence

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A section of Franklin Boulevard has been closed off by the Baltimore County Police Department due to a barricade situation involving a subject in a vehicle.

The closure affects the stretch between Church Road and Nicodemus Road, 21117, as announced by BCoPD via social media and their Facebook page. The department’s Tactical and Hostage Negotiation Team has been deployed to the scene. The public has been advised to avoid the area to allow law enforcement to work towards a peaceful resolution of the incident.
