Frederick Police Arrest Two Armed Suspects in Recent Distburance

FREDERICK, MD – On Sunday, officers from the Frederick Police Department’s Squad A responded to a weapons complaint on the 1300 block of W. 7th Street.

Utilizing camera footage, the officers identified individuals matching the suspect descriptions in the area.

The suspects were apprehended after a brief foot chase, leading to the recovery of two prohibited handguns.

Both suspects were safely taken into custody, with no injuries reported to either the officers or the suspects.

The successful operation was attributed to the coordinated efforts of Cpl. Gozdziewski, Officers Pyon, Stanley, and the entire A Squad.
