Frederick Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting

Frederick, MD – Frederick detectives are continuing to investigate a weekend shooting.

On July 5, at approximately 3:05 a.m., officers from the Frederick Police Department responded to reports of a shooting near the East All Saints Street parking garage. Upon arrival, they found an adult male with a gunshot wound. The victim received immediate medical assistance and was transported to a trauma center, where he is reported to be in stable condition.

The shooting is believed to have taken place in Carroll Creek Linear Park, between South East Street and South Market Street. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are working to gather more information about the incident.
