Frederick Police Say Missing 11-Year-Old Found Safely

FREDERICK, MD – Police in Frederick are thanking the public for helping them locate an 11-year-old girl who went missing on Sunday.

“Thanks to all of you, we have located [the girl] safe and unharmed. We appreciate our community’s assistance in helping us find her and bring her home,” police said.

The girl was last seen leaving her home at around 4 pm and hours after issuing the alert, tips from the community allowed police to locate her and return her to her family. No details were given by the police.
