Free Slurpees for kids who bike safely in Seaside Park

SEASIDE PARK, N.J. — The Seaside Park Police Department announced Tuesday it is partnering with 7-Eleven’s Operation Chill program, a nationwide initiative aimed at building positive interactions between officers and kids.

Through the program, officers will hand out coupons for free Slurpees to children they see wearing helmets while biking or helping others in the community.

Each coupon is good for one free Slurpee at participating 7-Eleven stores.

Seaside Park Police said the effort is designed to reward good behavior and promote safety.
