Fugitive Murder Suspect Sought in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Authorities released surveillance video excerpts related to the ongoing investigation into the shooting death of a 44-year-old female victim. The incident occurred on Saturday, May 27, 2023, around 6:18 a.m., in the area of Front Street and Allegheny Avenue.

The City of Philadelphia is offering a reward of $20,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this homicide case.

The suspect is described as a Black male in his mid to late twenties, approximately 5’10” to 6′ tall, with a stocky build, beard, and short-cut black hair. He was seen wearing an orange “AMIRI” brand T-shirt with a light-colored emblem on the left chest, “AMIRI” written across the upper back, light-colored denim pants, and distinct shoes at the time of the shooting.

Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward and assist with the investigation.
