Holiday travel at the Philadelphia International Airport, Pennsylvania

PITTSBURGH, PA – On Wednesday, Emeka Kevin Ukaegbu, a 30-year-old Pittsburgh resident, was apprehended at Philadelphia International Airport in an attempt to flee the country. Ukaegbu was facing charges of burglary, theft, and criminal mischief, stemming from a December accusation of illegal entry and theft from a North Side apartment.

The arrest was made after the Sheriff’s Office received a tip-off about Ukaegbu’s intended flight. Sheriff Kevin M. Kraus expressed his gratitude to the Department of Homeland Security for their role in the arrest. Ukaegbu is currently held in the Delaware County Jail, pending transport to Allegheny County next week.
