Baltimore man arrested in connection with 2024 Southeast stabbing

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A Baltimore man has been arrested more than a year after a stabbing in Southeast left one person injured, police announced Monday.

On April 22, 2024, around 8:33 p.m., a suspect approached a victim in the 4800 block of F Street, Southeast, pulled out a knife, stabbed the individual, and fled the area. The victim survived with non-life-threatening injuries after being taken to a hospital.

On August 18, 2025, members of the Capitol Area Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested 49-year-old Dennis Christie of Baltimore, Maryland. He has been charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife).
