Fugitive Unit Apprehends Suspect in D.C. Burglary Case

Washington, D.C. An arrest has been made in connection with a burglary that occurred in Northwest, D.C.

On Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at approximately 9:56 AM, a suspect entered an establishment in the 2200 block of 14th Street. The suspect stole property before fleeing the scene.

On Tuesday, September 24, members of the D.C. Metro Police Fugitive Unit arrested 39-year-old Gardiner Sanders of Southeast, D.C. He was taken into custody from the Arlington County Detention Center and transported to the Third District, where he faces charges of Burglary Two and Destruction of Property.
