BRADDOCK, PA – The County Police are urgently seeking an 18-year-old Braddock man, Darien Wallace, in connection with a fatal double shooting that occurred on April 1. At 7:49 pm, emergency services were alerted to the incident in the 600 block of Margaretta Street, where they discovered 16-year-old Jeramyah Pollard dead at the scene. Another young male victim was transported to a hospital and is currently in stable condition.

The Braddock Police, seeking further assistance, involved the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit. The ongoing investigation has revealed that the shooting was the result of an earlier altercation in a local park, leading to a deadly confrontation on Moody Street. Wallace, identified as the shooter, allegedly pursued the victims following the dispute and subsequently shot Pollard and the other victim.

Wallace faces charges of criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and illegal possession of a firearm. Described as 5’8” tall and weighing 140 pounds, he is considered armed and dangerous. Authorities advise against approaching him and recommend calling 9-1-1 if he is spotted. The County Police urge anyone with information regarding Wallace’s location to contact their Tip Line at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
