Delaware State Police, in collaboration with Maryland State Police and the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force, located Brian Holben, an attempted murder suspect.
Holben was involved in an officer-involved shooting on Tuesday. On Thursday, at around 4:00 PM, law enforcement officers executed a search warrant in Maryland, where Holben was believed to be hiding.
Despite negotiation attempts, Holben barricaded himself inside a camper. Upon entering, officers found Holben deceased from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
This operation concluded an intensive search for Holben, who had previously fired at Delaware State Police detectives.
