Fugitive wanted in New York state captured in Bradford

BRADFORD, PA – City of Bradford Police today successfully apprehended Michael J. Nesbit, a fugitive wanted in New York State for burglary, grand larceny, criminal possession of a firearm, and related offenses. The arrest took place at 12 North Kendall Avenue during an investigation related to a welfare check.

Upon confirming Nesbit’s identity and the extraditable warrants, City of Bradford Police took him into custody. Nesbit, originally from New York, was arraigned by Magistrate Dominic Cercone and is being held at McKean County Jail on $250,000 cash bail pending extradition.
