Fully vaccinated 36-year-old flight attendant loses month-long fight against COVID-19

NEW YORK, NY – Native New Yorker Maurice “Reggie” Jefferson, 36, died of COVID-19 last week. Jefferson was a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines who contracted COVID-19 in July and has been battling in the hospital since last month. Jefferson, who was fully vaccinated was on a ventilator when he passed, according to USA Today.
