Gaithersburg teen reported missing since Thursday took train to Chicago

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public assistance in locating, Rebeca Aragon-Soto, a missing 16-year-old from Silver Spring.

Aragon-Soto was last seen on September 27, 2022, at approximately 7:45 a.m., in the 1700 block of Hampshire Green Ln.

Aragon-Soto is 5-feet, 1-inch tall and weighs 180 pounds. She has light brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, blue jeans and white Crocs. She was also carrying a brown Adidas backpack.

The investigation by detectives revealed that Aragon-Soto took the Amtrak Train to Philadelphia and then to Chicago.   

Police and family are concerned for her welfare.
