Georgia Prisoner for Intimate Affair With Donkey and Family Dog Facing New Charges

MONROE COUNTY, GA—An 18-year-old inmate, Jason Weir, has been charged with misdemeanor battery following an altercation at the Monroe County Jail. Weir has been incarcerated since May 27, stemming from allegations of sexual assault against animals, which reportedly involved a donkey and the family’s Great Dane.

The incident leading to the new charge occurred when another inmate provoked Weir by making donkey sounds, a mockery linked to the nature of his initial arrest. In response,

Weir reportedly followed the inmate into a cell and assaulted him, targeting the inmate’s eye and ear. The altercation has added a battery offense to Weir’s existing legal troubles, which include a felony charge related to animal sexual abuse.

Local sources, including WSB-TV, indicate that the Monroe County Jail records confirm Weir’s custody duration and the specifics of the charges against him. The ongoing investigation into both the initial charges and the recent jailhouse incident continues to develop.
