Glen Burnie 7-Eleven Robbed at Gunpoint

GLEN BURNIE, MD – Police are investigating an attempted robbery that was thwarted by a fast-thinking clerk. The clerk told the armed gunman there was a police officer on-site and the suspect fled, police said.

Police said that on Tuesday, at 5:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of an attempted robbery at the 7-Eleven, 495 Old Mill Road in Millersville.

“The suspect entered the business, approached the counter with merchandise, and displayed a black handgun. The clerk told the suspect that an officer was on the scene. The suspect fled the business on foot,” police said.

The suspect was identified as an unknown race male, dark skin, black mask, dark sunglasses, black shirt, black pants with a white stripe, armed with a black handgun.
