Man Arrested After Glen Burnie Argument Escalates to Gun Threat

GLEN BURNIE, MD – An argument at a Glen Burnie residence escalated to violence on July 16, resulting in the arrest of a Linthicum man. Officers responded to the scene at a home on Eugenia Avenue around 4:25 p.m., where they discovered that Joshua Richard Wader, 34, had allegedly pointed a handgun at several occupants during the dispute.

The suspect was subsequently located at his residence in Linthicum and taken into custody without further incident.

Officers also seized a 9mm Smith & Wesson handgun, identified as the weapon used in the assault. Wader is now facing charges related to the assault and unlawful possession of a firearm.
