Glen Burnie Man Arrested for Drug and Firearm Possession in Pasadena

PASADENA, MD — A Glen Burnie man was arrested Thursday night after detectives recovered drugs and a handgun during a traffic stop in Pasadena, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

At approximately 8:45 p.m., Eastern District detectives observed a suspected drug transaction near Kings Road and Queens Park Road. Officers initiated a traffic stop on the involved vehicle and conducted a probable cause search.

The search led to the discovery of drugs and a concealed handgun on the driver, identified as 32-year-old Lamar Lenell Porter of Glen Burnie. Police confirmed that Porter was prohibited from possessing a firearm.

Porter was taken into custody without incident. The specific charges and the types of drugs recovered have not yet been disclosed.

The investigation remains ongoing as authorities work to determine if additional charges will be filed.
