Glen Burnie Man Arrested on Weapons Cgarge

GLEN BURNIE, MD – A 35-year-old Glen Burnie resident, Edward Willie Davis, was arrested following a weapons offense on December 28, 2023.

Detectives, while patrolling the area of Hidden Brooke Drive and Secluded Post Circle in Glen Burnie, observed a male, later identified as Davis, displaying behaviors indicative of carrying a firearm. Dressed in all red, Davis caught the attention of the detectives who, after surveillance, spotted what appeared to be the grip of a handgun protruding from his waistband.

Upon making contact and detaining Davis, a search revealed a loaded Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun. Further investigation confirmed that Davis was prohibited from possessing firearms.

Davis has been transported to Central Booking and is facing charges in connection with this incident.
