GLEN BURNIE, MD — On Monday, at about 2:35 p.m., police were called to Marley Middle School after reports of a student possessing a handgun. Upon an administrative search of the student’s backpack, school officials found an unloaded 9mm Glock 19 handgun.
The accused student claimed the gun belonged to another student, who was found with a replica Glock 17 BB gun. Neither weapon had been displayed to anyone at the school.
Authorities have charged both students involved.
