Gloucester Police Department Welcomes Newest Police Officers to the Force

Gloucester Township, NJ – Three new police department recruits were sworn in as police officers on Monday in Gloucester by Chief David Harkins.

Ptl. Brian Sarne, Ptl. Ryan Fink, and Ptl. Trevor Swanson all took the oath of office to begin their careers as Gloucester Township police officers.

“All three hires are experienced Police Officers from other departments. They will begin patrol tactics training, firearms qualifications, and in-service training at the Gloucester Township Police Professional Standards Training Facility until May 19th. Upon completion their in-service training, each Officer will report to the Operations Division, be assigned to a Platoon, and begin their field training,” Chief Harkins said.
