Gold Alert Issued for Missing Townsend Woman

TOWNSEND, DE — Delaware State Police Troop 9 has issued a Gold Alert for Rachel Freeman, a 55-year-old woman from Townsend, Delaware. Freeman was last observed at her residence on March 11 and has since been unreachable, prompting concerns for her safety and welfare.

Described as a black female, Freeman stands about 5’5” tall and weighs approximately 90 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing an olive-green bubble jacket, gray sweatpants with a black stripe, gray flats adorned with a bow, a black scarf around her neck, and a red and white scarf around her head.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Freeman’s whereabouts to contact Delaware State Police Troop 9 at (302) 378-5749 or to call 9-1-1. Information can also be provided through Delaware Crime Stoppers at 1-800-847-3333.
