Gov. Murphy departs for two week vacation with family, Tahesha Way to serve as Acting Governor

TRENTON, N.J. — Governor Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy departed Colorado Springs following the National Governors Association Summer Meeting and will be away on personal travel, state officials announced Sunday.

They are scheduled to return to New Jersey on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 12.

In Murphy’s absence, Lieutenant Governor Tahesha Way will serve as Acting Governor.

Governor Murphy departs for personal travel as Lt. Gov. Way assumes duties in his absence.
