Governor Murphy Announces Busy Weekend Schedule


TRENTON, NJ – Governor Phil Murphy and First Lady Tammy Murphy have a series of official engagements spanning from Saturday, January 13 to Monday, January 15, 2024.

On Saturday at 1:00 PM, Governor Murphy will be at Cobb Park, located at East Main Street & North Main Street in Paterson, NJ. During this visit, he will observe the flooding and damage caused by the recent severe weather.

Continuing the weekend’s activities, on Sunday at 10:00 AM, Governor Murphy is scheduled to deliver remarks at the New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs’ 44th Infantry Brigade Combat Team Deployment and Farewell Ceremony. This event will take place at the CURE Insurance Arena, 81 Hamilton Ave., Trenton, NJ.

Concluding the engagements, on Monday, which is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Governor Murphy will speak at 11:00 AM at Mount Olive Baptist Church located at 11 Ashland Ave., East Orange, NJ. This event marks the celebration and remembrance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.
