ASBURY PARK, NJ – During a live broadcast on NBC ‘s Today show, Governor Phil Murphy was heckled while on the boardwalk in Asbury Park, “He’s a traitor, he’s a hypocrite!”
Murphy said he respected the man’s right to protest but insists he is doing the right thing for the state in his interview. When asked if he would close the state again, he said, “You have to leave that on the table.”
