Snapchat tip leads to arrest of Greensburg man in child exploitation investigation
GREENSBURG, PA – A social media tip led investigators to a Greensburg man now facing serious child exploitation charges after police say multiple videos involving minors were found on his phone, including footage allegedly recorded from a video call.
The case began when the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigations received a CyberTip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The alert was generated by Snapchat, which flagged an account for uploading suspected child sexual abuse material.
Investigators traced the account activity to Isaiah Abraham, 24, of Greensburg. When officers spoke with Abraham, he was in possession of a smartphone. Troopers obtained and executed a search warrant for the device, launching a forensic review.
According to police, the phone contained several files classified as child sexual abuse material. Two of the videos appeared to be recordings of a video call, allegedly showing two minors involved in explicit conduct.
Abraham was taken into custody on Saturday. He is charged with multiple offenses, including photographing or filming sexual acts involving minors, possession and dissemination of child sexual abuse material, criminal use of a communication facility, and corruption of minors.
Abraham was denied bail and is currently being held at Westmoreland County Prison. His listed address is 338 West 3rd Street in Greensburg.
All charges are pending in court, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
