BRONX, N.Y. — A shooting on White Plains Road left six people injured on Monday afternoon, authorities said. The incident occurred at approximately 4:45 p.m. in front of 3544 White Plains Road in the Williamsbridge neighborhood.
Two unidentified males opened fire, striking multiple victims before fleeing the scene, according to police. The suspects’ current whereabouts remain unknown as of Tuesday morning.
The victims, all suffering gunshot wounds to various parts of their bodies, were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. Officials described their conditions as stable.
Police released descriptions of the two suspects, believed to be between 18 and 25 years old. The first individual is approximately 5-foot-7 and 160 pounds, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, a black mask, and black shoes. The second suspect is about 5-foot-8 and 140 pounds, dressed in a grey hooded sweatshirt, blue pants, grey sneakers, a black hat, and a surgical mask.
