Gun Charge Lands Boston Teen in Jail

Boston, MA – Officers arrested Christopher Maurilus, 19, of Roxbury, on firearm charges around 10:40 PM on Friday. Responding to a call for EMS and BPD response at 26 Crispus Attucks Place, police were alerted to an individual acting erratically.

Shortly after, officers discovered shell casings matching a shot spotter activation at 61 Alpine Street.

Upon approaching a male matching the shooter’s description, the suspect resisted, leading to a search where a firearm was found hidden by the suspect.RunLoop

The suspect was uncooperative but was eventually apprehended and charged with various firearm-related offenses. Authorities are preparing for his arraignment at the Roxbury District Court.
