Gun Pulled During Argument at New Jersey Heart and Lung Hospital

BROWNS MILLS, NJ – On September 29, at around 1:53 pm, officers from the Pemberton Township Police Department were dispatched to 200 Trenton Road, Deborah Heart and Lung Hospital.

Reports indicated a man had displayed a firearm during a parking lot dispute.

Witnesses stated that two men had a physical altercation over a parking space. One of the men, later identified as Brian K. Carter, 37, of Browns Mills, retrieved and showed a black handgun before leaving the scene. Surveillance footage confirmed Carter’s involvement.

Officers located Carter at his residence and arrested him. Charges include weapon possession for an unlawful purpose, unlawful weapon possession, possession by a prohibited person, heroin possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Carter is currently held at the Burlington County Jail awaiting a court appearance.
